Online Flight Sim
Do those FSX and X-Plane 9 players ever even do a preflight before their flight or do they even check with their checklist like real pilots do. ? I’m not saying that flight sim guys are the wrong stuffs, but their mentality about flying is all wrong. After speaking to others on the web, I found the answer. Simmers are not real pilots, but neither are they as different from real pilots as some real pilots would like to believe. Neither extreme of opinion is correct. It’s unlikely that someone with only desktop sim experience would be able to jump into a real airplane and fly it smoothly and perfectly. However, it’s also unlikely that someone with extensive sim experience would crash the airplane. And there is a lot of individual variation. I know of at least one or two cases in which people with only sim experience flew flawlessly on their very first flights in a real airplane. How much of this was attributable to sim experience and how much was attributable to the personality and aptitude of the people in question is debatable, but it does suggest that simulation is valuable for at least some people. I suppose it depends on how they use the sim as well. Conversely, I’ve seen NTSB reports on pilots who have been so incredibly, blatantly incompetent that you have to wonder how they ever obtained any kind of certification at all. Presumably they got real-world training, but it didn’t seem to have any effect. Here again, a lot of it might be due to personality or individual aptitude. In the final analysis, there are no absolutes. This being so, I am extremely wary of summarily dismissing or unconditionally endorsing simulator experience.
Flight Simulator Download
I want to load MS flight simulator on an external hard drive, is that possible and will it perform at a decent speed? Please help. What I found out was – if your external hard disk is USB 2 (TWO.), then it’s faster then an ATA 133 Mbps hard disk (the standard hard disk on most PCs until about a year ago) and be fine to install FS. You have however to make sure that the USB is indeed USB 2, because USB 1. 1 is simply too slow for anything but off line data storage. Keep in mind that the external hard disk as well as the connectors on your PC have to be USB2, otherwise it will settle for the speed of the slower device)

I have never owned a joystick in my life even though I have played a lot of video games. Now I want to master MS flight simulation X but it seems impossibly hard to fly a plane with the keyboard alone. Joysticks For Pc
How can I use older style joysticks on a newer PC that does not have any joystick ports just USB? I have two beautiful quality joysticks that plug into the old game port and cannot see the sense in junking them (I’m a real recycling greenie). Are there adapter cables or dedicated cards? Your help is very much appreciated. After speaking to others on the web, I found the answer. You can use an adaptor like this. You will have to check if your joysticks are compatible though, the adaptors will have a list of joysticks that won’t work with them. The RS232 adaptor mentioned above will be useful if they are serial port joysticks.
